-I paint with large motion right out of the tube, giving strong lines of color and a sense of action, even within a still life. I also wash paint over the canvas, sometimes with a garden hose.

-I love color - sometimes start a painting with just a color palette chosen, no other idea, just begin. I get queues from visual input - conscious and subconscious. But the painting always evolves way beyond the initial stimulus.

-I prefer bright days to gloomy ones and paint that way.

-My work is open-ended. I hope to connect to some feeling in you which is not necessarily the one I started with.

-I love music and dance and people say you can see rhythm in my paintings.
